I have been at Ballard since 2001 and since then I have seen amazing growth at Ballard and in the fuel cell industry.  I started as an MEA engineer working on freeze start for automotive and I am now a principle engineer and the Director of Technology Solutions.  Technology Solutions is fascinating, I work on technical and business challenges for a wide range of fuel cell applications and customers all over the world.  I am truly excited to be a part of driving our business forward.

I love to travel and spend time with my family.  My two girls are both excited to see what I do and innovation and the environment are becoming common dinner table talk (along with Pokémon, Peppa pig, Elsa and YouTube videos of cats).  My 9 year old took at least 30 pictures of the London fuel cell busses on a recent trip - she was just as excited as I was.  The best quote from my 3-year old while traveling through Germany was “mommy there is one of those spinning things that turn wind into energy”!  They come by this honestly, my husband and I met at Ballard while working on mitigations for anode flow sharing and the patent is up on our dining room wall – total geek family.
